Chapati is a healthy and most common recipe in anywhere.We can make soft chapatis with very simple ingredients in less time. This contains many benefits controls obesity, prevents diabetics, assures a healthy lifestyle. 

To prepare chapati in simple steps. Firstly, making soft dough is the most important step.Add all ingredients and make the soft dough.Here I have added ghee for soft chapatis. Rest the dough for at least 15 minutes. 

The second step is to folding dough, the third step is to roll them and finally, the fourth step is to fry the chapatis. Serve the chapati with any gravy.

Ingredients for chapati
For dough
  1. Wheat flour -3 cups
  2. Salt -3/4 spoon
  3. Water -3/4 glass
  4. Ghee -1 spoon
For fry
  1. Oil -6 spoons
Procedure for chapati
Making dough
  1. Take a bowl add 3 cups of wheat flour.
  2. Add sufficient salt.
  3. Pour little by little water to make dough.
  4. Add a spoon of ghee and knead to soft dough.
Resting
  1. Cover and rest it for 15 minutes.
Folding and shaping dough
  1. knead the dough and divide the dough into 6 equal portions.
  2. In a rolling board take a portion of dough sprinkle wheat flour and roll them.
  3. Apply oil, now shape the dough. Take a knife cut at center to end of chapati.
  4. Roll around and press at center.
  5. Repeat the same for all of them.To make chapati soft and to cook evenly apply oil and fold them.
  6. Take one folded dough and roll to circular or rectangular shape.Roll all of them.
Frying chapati
  1. Heat a pan at medium flame place the chapati gently over it.cook for a until it turn golden.
  2. Turn on another side and cook.
  3. Apply oil on both sides and cook for few more seconds.
  4. Take into a serving plate.serve hot chapati with any gravy.

Step by step procedure for chapati:
