Ingredients for chicken fry:
For marination:
  • Skinless Chicken - 1/4 kg
  • Ginger and Garlic paste - 1 spoon
  • Coriander powder - 1/2 spoon
  • Turmeric powder - 1/4 spoon
  • Red chilli powder - 1 spoon
  • Salt - 1 spoon
  • Garam masala powder - 1 spoon
  • Chicken masala powder - 1 spoon
  • Cumin powder - 1/4 spoon
  • Oil - 1 spoon
For cooking and frying chicken:
  • Water - 1/4 glass
  • Oil - 4 spoons
For garnish:
  • Chopped coriander leaves - 1/4 cup
  • Fried green chillies - 2
  • Lemon - 1
Instructions
Procedure for chicken fry:
Marinating chicken:
  1. Wash the skinless chicken pieces thoroughly and drain off completely.

  2. Take a bowl to add chicken, ginger and garlic paste, coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and salt.

  3. And also add cumin powder, garam masala powder, chicken masala powder and a spoon of oil mix well.

  4. Marinate the chicken pieces for at least 15 minutes. Close the bowl and set aside.

  5. So that the chicken will absorb the spices and it will give a wonderful taste.

Pressure cook chicken pieces:
  1. Take a pressure cooker to add all marinated chicken pieces, little water and close the lid.

  2. Let it cook for two whistles. After two whistles switch off the flame, carefully open the cooker.

  3. Do not let it for more whistles, the chicken will break into small pieces and it will become mushy.

  4. You can also cook the chicken in a pan for 10 minutes instead of a pressure cooker.

Frying chicken:
  1.  Heat a pan over a medium flame, add oil and cooked chicken mixture with water.

  2. Fry until the water completely evaporated. Now our chicken becomes soft. Check it by pinching the piece it will break into two pieces that mean our chicken is almost ready.

  3.  Now dry the chicken in a low flame fry for 10 minutes till chicken turns into golden brown and coated with all the spices

  4.  To avoid burning stir well at the middle. Crispy Chicken fry is ready to serve.

Garnishing:
  1. Garnish with lemon juice, coriander leaves, and fried green chillies.

  2. Serve as a side dish of rice, chapati, rasam, sambar and even with biryani

Marinating chicken:
