Garam masala powder is most important masala powder in all the curries which gives a wonderful taste. Homemade garam masala powder is very easy to prepare in 5 minutes.In the simple step by step procedure in five steps. Cutting large ingredients into small pieces, roasting ingredients, cooling them, taking in the blender jar,  blending all the ingredients.

INGREDIENTS FOR GARAM MASALA POWDER: 
Cumin seeds2 spoons
Coriander seeds3 spoons
Cinnamon4(cut into small pieces)
cardamom25
Black pepper1 spoon
Bay leaf3
Star anise3
Cloves3 spoons

PROCEDURE FOR GARAM MASALA POWDER:

{1} CUTTING INTO PIECES:

Cut large ingredients star anise, bay leaf, cinnamon into small pieces. 

{2} ROASTING INGREDIENTS:

Heat a pan over low flame add cloves, cumin seeds, coriander seeds, cardamom, cinnamon, black pepper, bay leaf and star anise. Roast all the ingredients one by one for a minute each until it has a nice aroma.

{3} COOL THE INGREDIENTS:

Set all the roasted ingredients aside. Do not over roast them. Cool them.

{4} TAKING INGREDIENTS IN BLENDER JAR:

Take a blender jar to add cumin seeds, coriander leaves, cloves, cardamom, cinnamon, black pepper, bay leaf and star anise.

{5} BLENDING ALL THE INGREDIENTS:

Grind them coarsely and set to an air container jar for 7 months.

Can use in all curries to make delicious recipes.
