The crispy Raw banana bajji is a simple cuisine in South Indian recipes.

Raw Banana Fritters is also known as Aratikaya bajji or pakora in Telugu.

Ingredients
Ingredients for raw banana bajji
  • Raw banana -1
  • Gram flour besan - 1 cup
  • Rice flour -1/4 cup
  • Baking soda - 1/4 spoon
  • Salt - 1 spoon
  • Red chilli powder - 1 spoon
  • Oil - 1 cup
  • Water - 1/2 spoon
For stuffing
  • Roasted peanuts -1/4 cup
  • Chopped green chilli - 1
  • Chopped onions - 1
  • Lemon juice - 1 spoon
Instructions
Procedure for raw banana bajji
  1. Peel the raw banana and wash it .

  2. Place the raw banana in the chopping board.

  3. Cut the raw banana in two parts(make it half).

  4. Chop the raw banana horizontally into four equal slices both of them.

  5. Immediately place the slices into water , so that it will not change their colour.

  6. Take a bowl add gram flour, rice flour , red chilli , salt , baking soda mix well.

  7. Add a little water and make a thick batter.

  8. Heat a pan add oil for deep fry.

Plain banana bajji
  1. Dip the raw banana slices by coating in the batter.

  2. Deep fry the batter coated raw banana slices in the hot oil and fry until it turn into golden.

  3. Deep fry the same with rest of all the slices.

  4. Plain bajji is ready to serve.

  5. serve with tomato sauce.

Stuffed banana bajji
  1. Consider deep fried raw banana bajji .Cut the middle of bajji on one side.

  2. Stuff the bajji with chopped onions , chopped green chilli , and peanuts.

  3. Stuff the same for rest of them.

  4. Finally squeeze lemon on stuffed banana bajji.

  5. Serve with onions and tomato sauce.

The time required to prepare the raw banana bajji recipe is 10 minutes.
