Ingredients

  • walnuts (akhrot) – 1 cup
  • deseeded dates (khajoor) – 3/4 cup
  • ghee – 1 1/2 spoon

Instructions

Chopping and roasting walnuts

  1. Chop the walnuts and also chop the deseeded dates.

  2. Heat a pan over medium flame fry the walnuts till it turns golden. Let it cool set aside.

Blending dates and walnuts

  1. Take a blender jar to apply 1/2 spoon of ghee spread it. So that dates will not stick to the blender jar. Add deseeded and chopped dates blend it coarsely.

  2. Add chopped walnuts blend it coarsely.

Shaping

  1. Take all the blended mixture to the plate.

  2. Divide into 6 equal portions. knead well and make small balls. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container for a week.

Recipe Notes

Take blender jar to apply 1/2 spoon of ghee spread so that dates will not stick to the blender jar.
