Ingredients

INGREDIENTS FOR ALMOND MILK

  • Almonds-1/2 cup
  • Cashew nuts-1/4 cup
  • Cardamom-3
  • Milk-1 1/2 glass
  • Sugar-4 spoons
  • Almond powder-3 spoons

FOR GARNISH

  • Finely Chopped almonds-3

Instructions

PROCEDURE FOR ALMOND MILK

SOAKING

  1. soak 1/2 cup of almonds for at least 15 minutes.By soaking almond for overnight milk will be creamy.
  2. soak 1/4 cup of cashew nuts for 15 minutes.This is just to give rich taste it is optional.
  3. peel the skin of almonds. Drain and rinse the almonds.

BLENDING

  1. Take a blender jar add soaked and peeled almonds.
  2. Add soaked cashew nuts.Can also use cashew nut powder instead of soaked cashew nuts.
  3. Add three cardamom. Can also add cardamom powder instead of cardamom.
  4. Add 1/2 glass of milk.
  5. Blend to smooth puree. Adjust milk and blend it.
  6. Add four spoons of sugar. Taste the puree and adjust sugar as for the sweetness.
  7. Add two spoons of badam powder to make the milk rich in taste.
  8. Pour remaining milk and blend well all the ingredients until it turns to the appropriate consistency.

SERVING

  1. Pour the almond milk into the serving glass.
  2. Garnish with finely chopped almonds. Better serve with chilled almond milk. Can also serve hot milk.
