Ingredients for onion carrot raita:

  • Yoghurt – 1 cup
  • grated carrot – 1
  • finely chopped green chillies – 2
  • chopped onions – 1
  • chopped coriander leaves – a handful
  • salt – 1 spoon


Procedure for onion carrot raita:

  1. Take a bowl to add grated carrot and chopped coriander leaves.

  2. Also, add chopped onions and finely chopped green chillies.

  3. Add a spoon of salt mi well.

  4. Add little water and beat the curd.

  5. Add a cup of beaten curd.

  6. Mix well till the yoghurt and all spices are mixed.

  7. Garnish with coriander leaves.

  8. Refrigerate raita till the time of serving.

  9. Serve as a side dish with any veg or non-veg biryani recipes, jeera pulao.
